The rules of the road on MeetMe: how to treat the person on the other side of the camera, what is never allowed, and what happens when someone crosses the line.

Random video chat only works because strangers keep showing up with good intentions, and these guidelines exist to protect that. Everything below is a specific case of the same idea: be someone you would want to get matched with.
Say hello before anything else. Keep your face in frame and your clothes on. If the other person is not interested, let them go — nobody owes you their time, and you owe nobody yours. Remember that the skip button works in both directions: a call you are not enjoying is a call you are free to leave, silently, at any moment.
Some lines have no second chance. Anything involving minors — real, suggested, or role-played — means an immediate permanent ban and a report to the authorities. The same goes for threats, blackmail, recording or screenshotting other users, sharing someone's personal details, showing illegal content, and using MeetMe to advertise, spam, or run scams of any kind.
Short of the hard lines, we remove people for harassment, hate speech, sexual content directed at someone who did not ask for it, repeated unwanted contact after being skipped, and impersonating another person or a MeetMe staff member. Moderation looks at patterns, not just single reports — one bad call can be a misunderstanding, five similar reports cannot.
Skip ends the call and moves you on. Block makes sure that person cannot be paired with you again. Report sends the call to the moderation team for review. Use them freely — reporting costs you nothing and you never have to justify leaving a conversation.
Confirmed violations lead to a warning, a temporary suspension, or a permanent ban depending on severity and history. The hard lines above skip straight to permanent.
