Meet someone now →MeetMe is designed so that meeting someone new asks for as little personal information as possible. You can open the site, turn on your camera, and be on a 1v1 video call without creating an account or writing a profile. What we do collect exists to keep matching fast and the community safe — not to build a file on you.
Like any website, our servers process the technical data a connection needs: your IP address, browser and device type, and basic usage events such as when a call starts or ends. If you choose to register, we store the account details you give us. If you buy coins, payment is handled by our payment processor — your card number never touches MeetMe servers.
Video and voice on MeetMe run as live, one-on-one streams between you and the person you are matched with. Your browser asks for camera and microphone permission only when you turn them on, and you can revoke that permission at any time in your browser settings. A call is a conversation between two people — there is no audience, no group room, and no public archive of your calls.
We do not sell your personal data, rent it, or trade it. We do not build advertising profiles from your conversations, and we do not record your video calls to watch later. Site analytics measure how pages perform, not what you say to another person.
MeetMe uses cookies and similar storage for the essentials: keeping the site working, remembering your preferences between visits, and measuring traffic in aggregate so we can tell which pages help people and which ones confuse them. You can block cookies in your browser settings; matching still works.
Operational data is kept only as long as it is useful. Server logs rotate out on a short schedule, moderation records are kept while a report is being handled, and account data stays until you ask us to delete it. Holding less is the safest policy we know — what we never store can never be exposed.
You can skip, block or report anyone in one tap, and leaving a call is as simple as ending it — nothing follows you out of it.
